Skip the big chains in favor of this wonderful throwback motel. Entire facility is SPARKLING clean and rooms have everything you need for a wonderfully restful stay. If you’re looking for a great value, friendly staff and convenient location, this is the place for you.
Punches above it's weight. Was pleasantly surprised when having to use them for a stay. Would recommend them in having to acquire lodging in Skowhegan.
I love this place. And I'm picky! Brenda at the front desk was amiable, and welcoming. My room is well-furnished, and nicely kept. Some motels at this price-point look worn and tired. Not the Towne Motel! Nice touch with the hardwood floors. The bed is soft, comfortable, and inviting. The towels are plush and new. In the bathroom the shower, tiles, sink, and fixtures are all new. It's easy to see that the owners are proud of their property and they want you to enjoy it. Kudos!
We stayed for a night while exploring the area. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and we had a great nights rest. The Front Desk Staff was super friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was simple, but delicious and gave us a good start on our day. You can tell the owners of the Motel are doing a great job of up keep. It looks like new siding and windows. The front lobby appears newly painted. They may even have a new area next to the pool for this summers swim. Great job! I'd recommend a stay here if you're ever in the area.
Pristine pool! Lovely exterior. Room was adequate with nice amenities like a refrigerator, coffee maker, Direct TV, and breakfast bar. Delightful staff that accommodated my last minute reservation and need for first floor room due to a foot injury.
For what it is cant complain. They have a dongle to plug all of your electronics into. Beds are comfortable. Room service does a good job.
I had a lovely night in your delightful motel - and was quite impressed by all aspects, especially the cleanliness throughout, and the kindness of your staff. I had a household emergency (frozen pipes) - and needed a good shower and laundry facilities - and it was perfect. It was a luxury in a delightful hot shower (loved the design of the 'sea shell' seat, perfect for this ol' lady with bad knees!) - and very happy to find a nice new washer and dryer to take care of my laundry! I will be happy to refer folks your way who are in the area! <3
My wife and I along with our 10 year old grandson stayed 3 nights in August for a family gathering. The room and hotel in general was very clean. Our grandson loved the pool and breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will return. Thank you.
